Nooga Local aims to meet WCAG 2.2 AA where practical. That means clear structure, keyboard access, visible focus, readable contrast, and alternatives for non-text content—so neighbors can browse listings and contact businesses without unnecessary barriers.
What we do
- Semantic headings and landmarks for screen-reader navigation.
- Keyboard navigation with visible focus states.
- Accessible modals, drawers, and form labels.
- Sufficient color contrast across the design system.
- Reduced-motion support for users who prefer it.
- Descriptive alt text for imagery.
- No interaction dependent on hover alone.
Known limits
Third-party embeds, owner-supplied images, and map views can vary in accessibility quality. We review reported issues and prioritize fixes that unblock core tasks: search, open a profile, and contact a business.
