Here is exactly how sponsorship works on this directory.
Featured listings
Featured is a paid promotional placement. Featured businesses appear in a clearly labeled “Featured” section and are marked with a Featured badge. They do not appear in organic results and do not influence editorial rankings.
Specialty sponsors
Specialty Sponsor is a paid exclusive placement for one specialty. Sponsors receive clearly labeled sponsorship placement but have no control over editorial rankings or recommendation lists.
Sponsored articles
Any article created with sponsorship support carries a visible disclosure notice. Sponsored content is never presented as independent editorial coverage.
What sponsorship does not buy
- Control over “Recommended” or editorial rankings.
- Removal of accurate information or corrections.
- Conflation of payment with trustworthiness or verification.
